Asset Validation

The «Asset Validation» extension enables the validation of assets based on their properties. Assets identified as invalid can be marked with an asset bullet and tooltips.

In order to locate invalid assets easily, nodes may be defined to which the invalid (and/or valid) assets will be assigned to. Using a task, all assets in the system can be validated and assigned to the corresponding node(s).

In the configuration you can define which file extensions and/or minimum image sizes are valid or which characters in the asset name are invalid. It is also possible to implement additional, arbitrary validation checks to suit your needs.

To identify assets based on information field values or node assignments, we recommend our «Asset Marker» plug-in.
