Thanks to DAMlivery – developed by our partner DAM United – Transgourmet Switzerland, the leading Swiss pick-up and delivery wholesaler for restaurateurs and retailers, can provide the product images for its more than 25,000 articles across different touchpoints, always up-to-date and in the appropriate sizes.
The digital assets are accessed via a URL. Bulk exports are therefore no longer necessary for on-demand provision – periodic jobs are a thing of the past.
Before the implementation of DAMlivery, Transgourmet Switzerland had to set up and maintain a separate image data exchange area for each image user – a time-consuming and system-intensive process that consumed valuable resources.
With the launch of DAMlivery, all assets relevant for the web store or the app are made available to all external recipients directly from the CELUM DAM system. In addition, the stringent requirements for conversion and secure delivery of the assets are met. Depending on the intended use, the asset is delivered once, on white or transparent background in different sizes, considering the clipping path integrated in the image. As a result, the server and network load have been reduced enormously, since the conversion is done by DAMlivery.
Thanks to the CELUM extension «Smart Collections» developed by brix, all assets relevant for delivery are compiled based on defined metadata criteria – without any manual interaction. The entire delivery process has been massively simplified and is now completely automatic.
Transgourmet can be sure that only valid assets are made available via DAMlivery. Thereby, the entire asset lifecycle is also fully reckoned.
